how rumour came out

I met an ex-coworker online a few days ago and told him I woould be a gastroscopy nurse. He told my other ex-coworkers next day that I would be an ultrasonic nurse (needn't nurse there) . It was totally different from what I had told him. I knew it tonight after my husband calling his previous director who is also the director of the ex-coworker I chatted online. So don't believe rumour told by others unless you heard and saw it personally.
